How long does a polyaspartic floor coating take to install?
Most residential garages take 1–2 days to install. The coating itself cures in a matter of hours, but we still recommend staying off the floor until the next day and waiting a full 48 hours before driving on it — both shorter waits than standard epoxy, which often needs several days to fully cure.
What's the difference between epoxy and polyaspartic/polyurea?
Standard epoxy is a single-part coating that cures slowly and can yellow when exposed to UV light. Polyurea and polyaspartic coatings cure much faster, stay flexible, resist UV fading, and generally hold up better over the long run — which is why we use them instead of basic epoxy kits.
